A major search for a gunman is underway in Delaware County, authorities announced.

Upper Darby police said only that Yeicop Menjivar, or Yieco Menjivar Pacheco, is wanted for murder and related offenses in a shooting on the 200 block of Kent Road early Sunday morning, Feb. 4.

According to an affidavit obtained by Daily Voice, Mejivar shot 24-year-old Keneri Montoya. The document claims Menjivar showed up at the Montoya family home looking to speak to his ex-girlfriend, Keneri's sister.

Montoya was trying to defend his sister, but he and Menjivar got into a fight when Menjivar pulled out a gun and shot Kenito in the forehead, the affidavit says. He fled in a blue and black Honda Civic with Pennsylvania tag LWH4182, investigators wrote.

Though police say Mejivar is charged with murder, 6abc reported Tuesday afternoon that Montoya remains on life support. In the affidavit dated Sunday, investigators said Montoya was in critical condition with "no functional cognitive capacity" and that "his organs are to be harvested."

Menjivar, 31, is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 immediately.
